Set sail from Ireland and Scotland to America!

Irish and Scottish immigrants arrived in the New World with their music – songs that became some of America’s best loved folk melodies. In America Bound, Golden Bough celebrates America’s Celtic heritage with songs of travel, songs of life in the New World, and the American songs that evolved from their Celtic roots.

Margie Butler, Paul Espinoza, and Kathy Sierra perform lively melodies, humorous tunes, sea chanteys, soulful ballads, and rousing jigs and reels, plus favorite Irish-American songs sung by generations. The trio sings with three-part vocal harmony and performs on an array of instruments including Celtic harp, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, accordion, bodhran, and pennywhistle. Sing-along numbers included!

Golden Bough now celebrates more than thirty years of touring around the world. Visit the Golden Bough page for information on the trio’s other touring shows: Journey through the Celtic Lands and Christmas in the Celtic Lands.

Visit Travelin’ Songs: the Best of American Folk for info on the newest Golden Bough show.
